logo theft on NetFlix by Hito-san logo theft on NetFlix by Hito-san
while on my xbox looking for some movies I sertched for ninja
and came up with some old movies and some classics but this grabed my atention

not because of the sex appeal but the logo
I thought it might be a recreation of the ninja gaiden 2 logo

but after looking it up on my PC I spoted the two slashes
were still thare on the A
showing thay didint recreate the logo just copy pasted it on the cover and changed gaiden to chearleader

I wanted a bigger cover of the movie but I search only to find out that it's only like that on Netflix

any one know who I could contact about this?

What is really funny is if you look on IMDB it has the original cover art for this movie where the three are in the same pose, however it even looks like they used Photoshop create the mid drifts on cleavage areas onto the cheerleaders to make it appear more sexy. So lame. Also, something to keep in mind is that this theft might not be the fault of the producers of the movie, but a Netflix issue, where someone with no creative talent wanted to draw more people to the movie, it is taking up shelf space at a distribution center after all.

I did some digging around on Amazon and other retailers, and even the poster for the film uses a different logo.
This logo you're showing here seems to be exclusive to Netflix, like they used some kind of preliminary artwork.

...I noticed that too as I looked at this.
Jeez, they didn't even bother to even attempt to get rid of the red slashes on the logo. I know that even ME, a novice Photoshop user, could edit out those red slashes if I wanted to... :iconfacepalmplz:

LOOOOOOOOL

Can't wait to hear about this lawsuit 'u'
Because it's probably going there, since they're using the logo on a DVD they're selling to make -money-.....and the movie sounds awful.

The best people to contact would be TECMO, the owners of the Ninja Gaiden franchise. They might even have a direct contact e-mail for their legal department. Wherever you send your message off to, I suggest putting DMCA in the subject line; that's a real attention-getter.

It can take some time to get a response, especially if it has to go through a few people. On the one hand, I sent an e-mail to RTE (the Irish television station) about a YouTuber who was posting whole episodes of Beckett on Film. That was months ago, and apart from a few automated "Thank you, we'll forward this information..." responses, I haven't heard a thing. Another time, though, I sent an e-mail to an artist about someone on DevART who was posting his work, and got a response back in a few days. So, it really just depends, and considering we're dealing with a company like TECMO, it'll probably be some time.

Like I said in my later comment, though, that might have only been some preliminary artwork the company sent out to Netflix so they'd have something for their preview image, since the retail version (and even the poster) use a different title.

Wow, that's pretty...wow. I dunno if there's a copyright infringement bureau or what, I would research it though, if you want to do something.
